ASSUMPTIONS
– Documents are 300 DPI Color Scans produced with a professional scanner
– DB Lookups are OK, but using database tables with more than 1M records will slow down the system
– MetaServer runs on a server OS and uses modern multi-core processors (< 2 Years old)
– The server is dedicated to MetaServer and does not run any other processor intensive processes

IMPORTANT: The MetaServer Core Calculator only provides an indication of how MetaServer will perform with the given number of cores.

Additional core licenses are useful for daily page volumes above 2500 pages/day. Daily page volumes above 2500 pages/day on a machine with a quad core processor typically does not require additional core licenses next to the one included in the MetaServer base license.
