I tried to activate my product but get the error: “This implementation is not part of the Windows Platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms”.
This error is very unusual and is caused by a Windows setting related to FIPS cryptographic algorithms verification. You need to disable the verification by changing following entry in the windows registry.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\FipsAlgorithmPolicy
Set it to 0.
Restart Windows after changing the setting and the activation of the CaptureBites product will correctly work.
