With the CaptureBites email connector you can email scanned documents as PDF attachments directly from Kofax Express and now also from Kofax Capture.

Both Kofax Capture 9 and 10 is supported.

With the CaptureBites connector it is possible to format the HTML body text as you please.

PDF Splitting now available in CaptureBites Folder

Many systems can only handle a specific PDF file size which cannot exceed a defined maximum. If you have long documents that exceed this file size, the solution is to split the PDF in parts.

Ideally the PDF files are split in the most optimal way to maximize the number of pages per part. Each part should still fit in the defined maximum file size per part.

Examples

Generated PDF files need to be emailed and file size should not exceed 10MB
PDF Files need to accessed through Citrix and should not exceed 5MB
Overall responsiveness of the Document Management decreases if the file size exceeds 15MB

CaptureBites Folder on-line help now available

The feature set of the CaptureBites Folder connector has been expanded considerably over the last few months. Full text output, splitting PDF files, making a backup of all your document images during export are just a few of the many features in the Folder connector.

CaptureBites Database on-line help now available

We recently added the capability in the CaptureBites Database export connector for Kofax Express 3.1 to upload documents directly in a BLOB field, also known as VarBinary(Max) field, in a MS SQL Database.
